Il Parco dei gnomi or the Park of the dwarfs in Zone is a lovely excursion for children and also for adults. Zone is few kilometers above Marone and this „fairy forest“ is created by Luigi Zatti, also named „the red“. Mr. Zatti, who lives in Zone, built this artwork with over 40 different figures with much love.

This fairy forest is a little bit outside the town Zone, but thanks to the indications, it´s very easy to find. The route to follow, is a nice hike in every season of the year.

The trunk of the tree is cut down, but their roots are still in the ground – and so all those stumps are transformt into beautiful and fantastic characters. Gnomes, guards, mothers, fathers, grandparents, but also bears, wolves, rabits, frogs, foxes, dats and even pinocchio are waiting on this path to be admired. Beeing touched by this emotion, you can once more feel like a child, laugh and dream from an other world. A beautiful hike to recommend for children and adults.
